The Dream Drum is an amazing musical instrument that has enormous educational potential in Early Years and SEN settings as well as in the home. It's a simple, pitched percussion instrument with a soothing, meditative sound and it's easy and satisfying to play. It's suitable both for supervised and unsupervised play and can be used indoors and outside. It can be played solo, "four hands" (or more), you can add simple percussion instruments, and you can sing along, add melodic instruments, use as a sound background for story-telling and play in small groups.
